Hunter Biden once again filed a lawsuit against Fox News accusing the network of using “porn revenge” associated with his infamous laptop in his ex -president’s son in a 2022 broadcast series.
The judicial proceeding, filed last October, accused Fox of violating New York’s Civil Rights Law by transmitting Biden’s clear sexual content to a six-part mini-part entitled “Hunter Biden’s trial”-an imaginary account of a never-developed litigation.
The series, broadcast on the Fox Nation platform, included materials stemmed from the contents of the Biden laptop – which became the object of a series of investigative reports published by the 2020 presidential election.
“We are pleased to continue now that Hunter Biden has finally volunteered this case without merit, which proved that it was nothing more than a politically motivated stunt,” a Fox News spokesman said in a statement.
Fox News is owned by FOX Corp – sister company Corporate Corporate Corporate Corporate Corporate.
This was the second time Biden has started legal procedures against the network and then withdrew. He first threatened to sue in April 2024, leading Fox Nation to quietly remove the series from its library.
A lawsuit followed in July, just to withdraw a few weeks later. The October case, which was officially fired on Friday, cannot be refined.
Although Biden’s legal team has not provided any public explanation for abandoning the lawsuit, a last loss in court – where they failed to transfer the case from federal jurisdiction to state – may have played a role in the decision.
The post has requested comment from Hunter Biden.
In his initial appearance, Biden claimed that Fox News had overcome a legal line by broadcasting private, sexually clear images, claiming that the series was a form of vengeful porn and was “completely fabricated”.
The complaint accused the network of utilizing the Biden image “through a form of treatment distinguished by the distribution of news or information.”
Fox, for his part, defended the program as protected on the basis of the first change.
“This fully politically motivated lawsuit has no merit,” the network said last year.
“The essential complaint stems from a 2022 transmission program for which Mr. Biden did not complain until he sent a letter in late April 2024. The program was removed within paper, with a careful abundance.”
Fox added that Hunter Biden “is a public figure that has been the subject of numerous investigations and is now a convicted criminal.”
“In accordance with the first change, the Fox News has accurately covered Mr. Biden’s own valuable events, and we look forward to justifying our rights in court.”
Hunter Biden has faced a series of legal problems, including tax and weapons charges. He was convicted last year on three crime charges about his drug use when he buys a firearm.
The “Hunter Biden trial” series withdrew from the contents of a laptop hunter allegedly left in a Delaware repair store in 2019.
Reporting of the laptop post was received with widespread censorship across the main technology platforms, including Twitter and Facebook, which limited the stretch of the story under the grounds that it could be based on “hacked materials” – a later proven false requirement.
The laptop contained tens of thousands of email, personal messages, financial and video recordings, some of which showed Biden engaged in illegal drug use and clear activity.
These materials became a quick point in the political debate over the prejudice of the media, censorship and business relationships of the Biden family.
