Moran, who joined the ABC News in 1997, was soon suspended.

John Santucci, an executive manufacturer at ABC News who is often linked to Trump officials, was contacted by the administration, told Insiders for the newspaper.
Santucci was involved in adjusting the interview between Moran and Trump in April.
Some ABC employees reportedly thought that Moran’s post had made their jobs more difficult by promoting political tensions. Despite his high -profile work, including the coverage of the Supreme Court, Papal Conclaves and his recent Trump interview, his fate was sealed.
But sources familiar with the situation told the diary that Moran’s decision was not due to pressure from the Trump administration.
An ABC News spokesman refused to comment.

On Thursday, Moran updated his X profile to describe himself as a “independent journalist” and was associated with a bulletin of substances.
