Sao Paulo-Khaby Lame, the most followed personality in the world of Tiktok who left the US after being arrested by immigration agents, went to Brazil, where he was spending some time with friends, local authorities said on Thursday.
Lame is staying with the AC Milan Emerson Royal player, and has enjoyed time with local fans, Paulo Eduardo Dias Junior, a city adviser from American, about 78 miles (125 kilometers) northwest of Sao Paulo, said The Associated Press.
On Wednesday night, they played a friendly football match with the locals.
Lame left the United States after being arrested on June 6 by immigration agents at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas for allegedly overlapping his visa. The Senegalezo-Italian influencer, whose legal name is the Seringe Khabane Lame, was allowed to leave the country without an expulsion order, according to a statement from immigration and implementation of US customs.
Junior organized Wednesday’s match in the name of the nonprofit he runs, Instituto Jr Dias. He said Royal’s lame participation helped collect 150 food baskets for vulnerable families.
“Emerson Royal is a role model for children in our community, and so is Khaby, who is globally known through social media. He is a feeling among children today,” Junior said. “He was very fun with the kids and played a lot.”
The counselor said the team Lame and Royal were in the 3-1 win. Everything went smoothly, he added, except for the post -match celebration. As is the tradition in Brazil, the players gathered for a barbecue. But lame preferred a Parmegiana, so they took her to a local restaurant, Junior said.
