The outlet spoke with many Democratic Party donors in California to see how they felt for Harris running for governor. So far, her interest in exploring a gubernatorial running in the state after losing its 2024 presidential elections has not been much excited.
“It would still lead, but honestly, no one has pumped too much,” he told a Southern California fund for politico.
Harris, who lost the November election to President Donald Trump, is seriously considering a 2026 attempt to follow the long-term limited governor Gavin Newsom, D-Calif. A source close to Harris told Fox News Digital in March that she has told the allies she would decide until the end of the summer if she launches a gubernatorial campaign.
The two possible options for Harris are starting a gubernatorial run next year in its state or seeking the presidency again in 2028.
