‘No one’ excited about the potential guide of Kamala Harris Gubernatorial, Say California donors

Former Vice President Kamala Harrisâ The future gubernatorial offer is not making much excitement between the democratic funds in California, Politico reported Friday.

The outlet spoke with many Democratic Party donors in California to see how they felt for Harris running for governor. So far, her interest in exploring a gubernatorial running in the state after losing its 2024 presidential elections has not been much excited.

“It would still lead, but honestly, no one has pumped too much,” he told a Southern California fund for politico.

Harris, who lost the November election to President Donald Trump, is seriously considering a 2026 attempt to follow the long-term limited governor Gavin Newsom, D-Calif. A source close to Harris told Fox News Digital in March that she has told the allies she would decide until the end of the summer if she launches a gubernatorial campaign.

The two possible options for Harris are starting a gubernatorial run next year in its state or seeking the presidency again in 2028. Early early surveys in the next Democratic Party’s presidential nomination race – which are very credible in recognizing the name at this point – indicate that the former vice president holds an important leader.

“In interviews, some major donors in the state told Politico that they are afraid of re -evaluating it as a candidate would reopen the wounds still fresh from its loss in 2024,” Dalja reported. “Some continued port frustrations about how her billion dollars campaign was over and wanting assurances that she would have a clear plan to win the governor’s residence.”

Mather Martin, a party funding from San Francisco who worked for numerous Harris campaigns, told Politico, “at first there was more enthusiasm” for Harris’s race. However, he added, “I think he faded a little.”

Another donor who gave a six -figure donation to Harris’s presidential campaign last year told Priza that they had found the explosion of her “traumatizing” White House offer and seemed to do not want to support her in the state.

“Kamala simply reminds you that we are in this full storm. With Biden, we got bamboozledâ” I think she did the best she could in that situation, but she undoubtedly knew about the cognitive decline. Indeed. “

The donor, who stated that “no one has been pumped too much” about Run Harris, also showed that donors “realize that it will simply bring all the last pathetic presidential that no one wants to hear again. And then that is all.”

Scott Drexel, a donor-advisor based in the San Francisco Bay area, noted, “it is very right to say that it is not a big noise” for Harris’s Gubernatorial race.

He also stated, “It’s very difficult to be one if it’s not 100 percent clear if she really wants to do it.”

“She will have to work for nomination. Everyday she passes, she has less a sense of inevitability for her candidacy,” Drexel said.

Democratic donor and court lawyer San Francisco Joe Cottet told Politico, “she is talking to people around the state if she runs. If she does, she will have very difficult problems.”

The Harris team did not immediately respond to the request of the Fox News Digitalâ for comment.
