The Mayo Clinic is renamed its dei office (diversity, capital and inclusion) to call the “Office of belonging”.
“Since 2020, the Mayo Clinic has been deliberately focused on as a cornerstone of staff well -being,” said Andrea Kalmanovitz, the director of Mayo on media relations, in a statement quoted in Minnesota Star Tribune.
“In accordance with this focus and recent national events, we will embrace an opportunity to accelerate the journey of the Mayo Clinic to reflect our culture of cooperation and respect and support the positive experiences of patients,” Kalmanovitz added.

The “Office of belonging” website on the Mayo Clinic website, says “Our vision is to create a global environment of empowered belonging. This requires building a psychological security environment, making the Mayo clinic a place where people with all their backgrounds, cultures and experience authentic. ”
On its website, Mayo Clinic says it received $ 500.7 million in 2024 from federal and state sources for research funds.
