FCC leader Brendan Carr said “all options are on the table” while he reviews the Union of Paramount Global with Skydance Media-a day after the “60-minute” Scott Pelley’s host launched an amazing Association against CBS Paramount’s owner who accused them of intervening in the program coverage.
Peley went a deceit at the end of Sunday evening episode during what seemed to be a simple tribute to Bill Owens, the long “60 -minute” executive manufacturer who left last week on the intervention of the company’s heavy hands.

The head of the Federal Federal Communication Commission said Monday that he would review complaints about the alleged news distortion in CBS “60 minutes” with the then President of Deputy, Kamala Harris, but he did not ensure a time limit.
Carr last month rejected an offer from CBS to reject a lawsuit claiming that Harris’s interview violated the FCC news “news distortion” rules. Paramount is seeking FCC approval for a coupling of $ 8.4 billion with Skydance Media.
Meanwhile, the CBS show is currently embraced in a $ 20 billion lawsuit with President Trump, who claims the show edited with fraud determined to benefit Harris. The president has also criticized the program to be biased under executive manufacturer Bill Owens.
Carr was asked what would happen to his investigation if the legal issue, which is in mediation, was resolved soon.
“We are simply focused on the record that is ahead of us,” Carr said, refusing to address a hypothetical question about what it would do if Trump directed him to approve the union. “We will simply apply the law and the facts.”
The post had reported months ago that Owens could be a sacrificial lamb as the union approached the conclusion.
“It shows a lot of balls for someone who realizes that no one is inviolable at this point,” an inner CBS Post told the Peley’s movement to extinguish his bosses.
A second interior said “Pelley is saturated with corporate disregard for the independence of journalism.”
A 20-year-old CBS verteran, Owens, has held the role of “60 minutes” executive manufacturer since 2019. In recent months, Owens has collided with the highest UPS heads in the company, especially the head of Paramount Shari Redstone.
